Established on July 20, 1982, as part of the Akdeniz University Isparta Faculty of Engineering, our faculty moved from Isparta to Eğirdir district on January 5, 1985, under the name Eğirdir Fisheries Higher School. On June 18, 1987, it was directly affiliated with Akdeniz University. On July 13, 1992, its name and affiliation were changed by Law No. 3837, and it became affiliated with Süleyman Demirel University, established in Isparta, taking the name Eğirdir Faculty of Fisheries. In 2018, it became part of Isparta University of Applied Sciences and continues its educational activities.
After completing 8 semesters (4 years) of higher education at our faculty, our students graduate with the title of "Fisheries Engineer". In addition to the undergraduate program in Fisheries Engineering, postgraduate (master's and doctoral) education has also been offered since 1985.
