Vocational Training Experience

Our faculty has switched to the In-Service Training (IRT) model starting from the 2019-2020 academic year. With this program, our students will take theoretical and practical courses at our faculty for 7 semesters, and in their final year, they will spend one semester (half-year) in vocational training at businesses with which our faculty has agreements. IRT applications will be made at the end of the 3rd year, on the dates specified in the relevant department's work calendar. During the semester spent in businesses, our students will work as active employees in the institutions they are placed in and will have the opportunity to participate in a project. In this way, our students will have the opportunity to gain professional experience and expertise before graduation in the businesses where they work within the scope of IRT. This model offers our students the opportunity to see and apply the professional and academic knowledge they have acquired at the faculty in the field. In this way, the basic knowledge acquired at the faculty is reinforced with field (field and business) studies.

The IRT process is carried out by the Applied Education Commissions of our Faculty Dean's Office.

Students studying at our faculty can go to IRT in their 7th or 8th semesters. Semester placements; The application process for the Vocational Training in Business program at Isparta University of Applied Sciences will be based on the application conditions specified in the program's guidelines, considering factors such as the student's request, GPA, and the number of places the company will accept.
