On March 11, 2026, the DEKAFOK Coastal Conservation Association held a volunteer awareness event at the Eğirdir Faculty of Fisheries, Isparta University of Applied Sciences. The event was attended by numerous students along with faculty staff. During the event, participants were informed about DEKAFOK's sea turtle conservation efforts, scientific monitoring activities conducted in the field, and volunteer programs. The program included explanations about the roles volunteers play in the field, their contributions to the protection of marine ecosystems, and scientific data collection processes. Furthermore, volunteer opportunities for students to actively participate in nature conservation efforts were presented.
