Within the framework of the LCA Project under the IPA III Program, implemented by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, a monitoring and evaluation visit was conducted at the Isparta University of Applied Sciences (ISUBÜ) Rectorate Campus. The visit was carried out by Independent Auditor Carlos Ludena as part of the evaluation processes conducted by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Representatives from the co-applicant institutions involved in the project and the project coordination team participated in the meeting.
During the meeting held at the Rectorate Campus, the project activities, implementation process, and obtained outputs were comprehensively discussed. The university's academic contributions to the project, its technical infrastructure, and implementation capacity were presented to the auditor in detail. Furthermore, the project's contributions to climate change adaptation, sustainability, and environmental impact reduction were emphasized.
As part of the independent audit process, evaluations of the project implementations were made, and the current situation was analyzed in accordance with monitoring forms. The importance of local ownership of the project, increasing stakeholder participation, and disseminating the results obtained was particularly emphasized.
