From ancient times to the present day, humankind has always hunted for survival, developing hunting tools and methods to do so. In our Faculty's Hunting Laboratory, educational activities continue within the framework of the principle of "Being Sensitive to Nature." In this context, hunting tools and methods developed for all kinds of prey found in our seas and inland waters are explained. Our students can engage in amateur fishing with fishing tackle they prepare themselves, and they develop their manual skills, rigging calculations, net cutting, and net repair applications with nets they weave and rig themselves, improving their mathematical intelligence. Each student can act as a captain and plot their own routes on real navigation charts. Furthermore, in our laboratory equipped with scuba diving equipment, theoretical information is provided on the introduction of this equipment and its use within the context of underwater physiology.
