The Fish Diseases and Immunology Laboratory conducts research on the isolation and identification of causative agents of bacterial, parasitic, and fungal diseases found in cultured fish species and shellfish, enabling definitive diagnosis and the development of effective treatment and preventive measures. Routine microbiological and serological methods are used in this research. Furthermore, studies are conducted on various commercial vaccines and immunostimulants to protect against diseases that pose a problem in our region's culture conditions.
