Our Dean, Prof. Dr. Sevgi SAVAŞ, participated in the 6th Aquaculture Workshop, organized by the Central Union of Aquaculture Producers in Antalya between February 23-25, 2018.
The workshop, attended by the General Director of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Dr. Altuğ ATALAY; the Deputy General Director of Agricultural Research and Policies, Dr. Necati TULGAR; the Deputy General Director of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Turgay TÜRKYILMAZ; the Head of the Livestock and Aquaculture Department of the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies, Dr. Ali AYAR; the Head of the Administrative Affairs and Coordination Department of the General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Ali Kılıç; the President of the Central Union of Aquaculture Producers, Faruk COŞKUN; presidents of aquaculture associations; aquaculture producers; and sector stakeholders, discussed and debated the problems and proposed solutions in areas such as marketing, production planning, increasing consumption, feed and other production inputs, subsidies, and organization within the sector.
